Close roadside observation of female upright animal along country road
Two companions driving slowly on a dark rural road late at night noticed a large dark figure standing on a steep bank at the road edge. They initially thought it was a large person in dark clothing, but as they passed within a few feet it turned its torso to look at them, showing a broad human-like face with a very wide upturned nose, a large torso with breasts, and a conical head with dark coarse hair. They concluded it did not appear human and continued driving without stopping.
Birder has daylight sighting in Rainbow Springs State Park
On New Year's Day morning the witness was birdwatching off-trail in a Florida state park when they noticed a hairy arm gripping a pine with a nest box about 100 yards away. Through binoculars they watched a hair-covered creature hug the opposite side of the trunk, peeking out and shifting to stay hidden for several minutes. When the witness stepped closer, the creature dropped and fled unseen through saw palmettos, leaving a wake of moving vegetation.
Daylight sighting by lady while her husband was clearing trees
The witness was sitting on a car watching tree-clearing work on a summer afternoon in 1999 when she glanced toward the treeline several hundred feet away. She saw a tall reddish manlike figure with no apparent neck standing in the shadows, and a young relative beside her saw the same thing. When she looked back after gesturing to her husband, the figure was gone.
Horse trainer has sighting
The witness was working horses near the barn on an overcast afternoon when the mares looked toward the woods. The witness saw an upright light-grey figure at the tree line, first thought to be a teenager in a heavy coat, but noted long hair-like covering and non-human swaying. The figure disappeared within 10 to 15 seconds without being seen walking away.

After months of rabbits and chickens disappearing from locked hutches without feathers or remains, the witness went to feed animals after fresh snow. He found open doors and human-like footprints leading to the tree line and felt watched. He threw a stick at a trunk-like shape in the woods, which then stood and ran off on two legs crashing through trees. The family later moved cages closer to the house and continued to occasionally hear loud screams from the woods.

After hearing tree breaks, movement, strange noises and heavy footsteps, the witness saw a large red bipedal animal walk along the road. When the witness spoke on the radio the animal screamed and ran away, and two large footprints were later found in silt.
Sasquatch sighting in Washington (2000)
Years later while researching in Washington, the witness and his wife were slowly cruising forest roads looking for trails. A huge black blur crossed immediately in front of their vehicle too fast to follow, brushing a tree that kept rocking. They saw no animal after stopping and heard no further crashing, concluding it must have been a Sasquatch moving at full speed downhill.

Over a prolonged period the household was visited almost nightly after midnight until near dawn. Visitors banged on doors and bedroom windows, threw rocks at the house, peered in windows and growled at children. The activity escalated from weekly to every night and left the family sleeping poorly.

The witness and spouse traveled to view reputed lights and waited until around 2 a.m. They saw two lights that shifted colors between blue, red and white and moved forward and back down a trail. The lights did not approach the guardrail that night.

The witness was driving a tractor-trailer south on a dark highway in the early morning when headlights lit a figure on the east side of the road. The figure first appeared bent over, then stood upright as the truck approached, showing wide shoulders, an ape-like face, and yellow eyeshine. The witness passed at highway speed within moments and could not discern fur color.
Truck driver has a short but memorable encounter
A semi-truck driver pulled over at a desert highway pullout at night and got out of the truck. He heard rocks falling, noticed a strong decaying odor that became gagging, and saw a large hairy biped cross the road in front of his headlights while making a loud grunt. Frightened, he got back in the truck and drove away.

The witness was driving home with her young daughter at night with high beams on when she noticed something crouched beside the road. As they got closer it turned, stood up and looked toward the car, then took about two steps down an embankment into the woods. Startled, the witness drove home quickly without confirming whether her daughter had seen it.
Witness observed "thing" walk briskly away
While deer hunting on a steep timbered slope in the evening, the witness noticed movement about 70 yards away. The dark, tall figure was judged too tall to be a deer and moved briskly through the trees for about 40 yards without making sound despite dry, crunchy conditions, then turned downhill and disappeared from sight.

A witness went to fill deer feeders in a river bottom in late afternoon and found a feeder tangled in a tree. While investigating, the witness followed glimpses of a shaggy animal through thick cover to a river crossing where it stepped into the open and was seen upright for about 10 seconds before leaving. After it left, the witness heard a loud snap behind and left the area.
Hunting couple has visual and auditory encounter near coast
During a day of deer hunting, the witness saw a face-like form crouched under a fir tree about 100 yards away that she felt resembled drawn depictions of Sasquatch. Later that evening she and her husband heard prolonged loud howling and screaming from the timberline that stopped abruptly when her husband stood to leave. They left without seeing the source of the sound and later interpreted the face, odor mentioned earlier in the day, and vocalizations as related.
Large animal lures men away from possible younger animal near Mt. St. Helens
Four relatives drove to the Mt. St. Helens area to look for Bigfoot in poor winter weather. From a viewpoint, a relative using a spotting scope watched a large dark upright figure move across a distant meadow and later return with a smaller figure first mistaken for a stump. The group searched the area without regaining visual contact. Shortly afterward at a nearby creek, the driver found a large bare footprint in mud and made a plaster cast of it.

Late at night the witness was driving home from a second-shift job along a rural road by Mud Creek. The headlights illuminated a tall, greyish hairy figure standing on two legs and leaning on a wire fence beside a cornfield. After a few seconds the figure turned and ran on two legs into the corn toward nearby woods.

The witness walked into an abandoned gravel pit area to gather firewood and saw a large bulky animal in a gully about 50 yards away standing on two legs. The animal's back was turned and its head remained hidden by foliage while it appeared to dig in bushes. When the witness retreated toward the truck, the animal climbed the opposite slope on two legs using its forearms and disappeared into trees at the top.

The witness and a companion were throwing rocks for a dog to fetch at a farm by woods when the dog became alert. The witness reports seeing something about 12 feet away move quickly across a clearing on two feet. The companion reportedly saw only the last moment and thought it was a bear, while the witness was convinced the sighting was real.

The witness and son were on a trail about a quarter mile from the river and stopped so the son could tie his shoe. The witness then noticed movement 150-200 feet away by a large old redwood stump and discerned a mass with a human-like torso from the waist up, apparently scratching its back against the stump. After gaining a back and profile view, the witness became fearful and both fled down the trail for about thirty seconds to a minute.
