The witness was night fishing with two companions by a fire on a riverbank. After hearing an unusual noise from across the river, the witness saw a very large, hairy figure moving in the dark. When a flashlight was shone on it, the figure quickly disappeared into the woods and was not seen again that night.

The witness was riding as a passenger south on the turnpike near the Ocoee exit around noon when he watched a large brown-covered biped walking the same direction in a swampy meadow about 100 yards away for 5 to 10 seconds. The figure had an odd gait, uniform dark brown color including the hands, no identifiable clothing, and a pointed head with little visible neck. His wife was driving and did not see it, and he remained uncertain whether the figure was human.

While fishing from a small boat with a companion, the witness heard a large heavy animal running through shallow water near shore, after which birds fled, the area went silent, and a bad smell was noticed. Hearing steady rock-rolling sounds, he approached quietly and watched a slender hairy female and two small juveniles foraging among rocks and putting items in their mouths. A much larger female then emerged and caught a small rodent, which a huge male rushed out to snatch and eat. After the animals stood and scanned the treeline while sniffing deeply, the witness radioed a bear alert, a helicopter buzzed the area scattering the group, and he returned to the helipad where the pilot said others had reported similar encounters.

A forest trail worker leveling shale heard rocks clacking nearby and shouted and threw a stone while backing toward a vehicle. The witness then saw a dark brown leg and face of a creature leaning under a fir limb about 20 feet away. The witness left to get crew members, who returned but saw nothing and all left the area because they felt spooked.

A woman and a child went to a relative's house to feed a dog. The child chased the dog around the house out of sight, then screamed and ran back saying a monkey-like creature growled and ran into the woods, later adding there was a little one with its mother. The woman did not see the creature but heard movement in the brush.

Two people driving while hunting at sunset saw a large hairy man-like figure running along the road about 30 to 40 yards away. The sighting lasted only a few seconds before the figure disappeared toward a ridge. The driver stopped, got out to search, heard no sound of flight and found no tracks on the hard sandy road.

The witness and companion were driving north at night when they saw a tall, silvery-white bipedal figure running south along the woods edge, then turning east into dense woods about fifteen feet away during a roughly three-second view. The figure was described as slender and athletic, about seven feet tall, with flowing hair on the arms and fast, graceful movement. The next morning they found 20 to 30 tracks of two sizes with visible toes in soft muddy ground nearby, but no photos were taken and rain likely washed the tracks away.
