In August 1991 the witness went trout fishing alone at a creek he had fished since childhood. He became nervous feeling watched and noticing murky water, then left the water and moved down the trail. Something followed and chased him as he ran while watching it, until passing cars allowed him to escape to safety.

He reported feeling intense dread and chose not to approach to look for tracks, ending his hunting afterward.

The witness was walking back from a grassy field off an old road when they felt watched and smelled a strong odor like body odor and wet dog. They then glimpsed something out of the corner of their eye moving parallel to the road through dense woods. As a nine-year-old riding a bicycle on a summer day, the witness stopped by a cemetery to fix a slipped chain and noticed a very tall black figure standing motionless behind the far stone wall. The figure was estimated at nine to ten feet tall beside a small tree and appeared to be watching. The witness fled on foot with the bicycle and later returned to find nothing there.

In summer 1978 a child sitting on a house deck noticed the family dog growling and horses running agitated toward the barn. The child then glimpsed a large dark brown to black bipedal figure with a massive chest running in a lower field about 100 to 200 yards away. The witness, then a teenager, took a shortcut through woods to return a neighbor's loose German shepherd. In a clearing by a fenced garbage pile, the witness saw a black hairy gorilla-like figure crouched at the fence, reaching through with a hand-like arm to move objects. The dog whined and blocked the witness, and after watching for several seconds the witness left and returned the dog by the road.

The witness was camping with a relative near Quakertown, Pennsylvania and went for a daytime walk alone near a dried creek bed. Across the bed the witness saw a large light-brown hair-covered ape-like creature in a crouched position that moved quietly into bushes and out of view. The witness ran back to camp and returned with a relative, who noted a deep depression at the spot but no further sign of the animal.
