While shed hunting the witness stayed at the machine as his wife walked up a draw. He spotted a dark figure between boulders that looked like a wolf head with long pointy ears and a canine muzzle. It stared, twitched an ear, leapt out and dropped into a wash, leaving him shaking and his attitude changed for hours.

Looking out the open window, the witness saw a very tall human-like face staring in from about twenty feet away for about fifteen seconds. Additional figures were seen moving among trees toward a creek, after which the witness closed and locked the window and secured the house.

The guest, then in early teens, was camping in a tent with a teenage friend and the friend's father at a lake-side campground in the Adirondacks. Late at night the woods went silent and heavy bipedal footsteps approached the tent, then a very large hand pushed the tent wall inward. After the friend's father mumbled in his sleep the hand withdrew, and the visitor rummaged through a cooler on the picnic table before walking into the lake and swimming away. In the morning the cooler had been moved, items were strewn, and an oily feel and stale smell were noticed.

On New Year's Eve at his former partner's parents' rural property, the witness went outside with his dog to smoke. The dog grew agitated as a tiny green speck in the distance grew into a pulsating sheet-like light moving slowly toward them about ten feet off the ground. He went upstairs to get help, found everyone long asleep, and realized hours had passed though he felt only briefly outside.

The witness looked and saw a very large hairy upright form crossing a break in the brush with three deer nearby before it disappeared in one step. The witness later marked a limb level with the creature's head, which investigators measured at 8 feet.

The witness was in bed around 2 a.m. when a powerful stench prompted a look out the bedroom window. A partially cut tree about 100 feet away began to topple, and a camera flash revealed a large brown hunched figure about ten feet from the house, possibly with a second figure near the woodline. The figures left into the woods, and the next day the witness found the tree down with the saw bar displaced and many tracks and cracked walnuts nearby.

Late at night the witness sat alone in a parked SUV before hog hunting when a large dark bipedal figure passed behind the vehicle, striking the trailer hitch hard enough to shake the truck. The witness observed it in a mirror as it moved away with long strides into adjacent woods. The witness remained in the vehicle for hours before continuing to hunt.

The witness and a companion were driving at night when headlights illuminated a large hairy figure crossing the road in front of the truck. The figure moved quickly down a steep bank, across the road, and into dense vegetation, disappearing before the witness could exit the vehicle, though crashing sounds were heard afterward. The dog in the vehicle reacted by whimpering and fixating on the woods.

The witness was driving west on I-40 at night when headlights lit a large, long-haired gray animal squatting near the shoulder. The animal sat with forearms on its knees and head tilted down, appearing to look at the ground. The witness slowed for a profile view, estimated its size against a road sign, and could not identify it as any known animal, noting a muscular, gorilla-like build under matted hair.

The witness was riding as a passenger north on I-75 the day after Christmas when traffic began moving after a jam. She looked to the right and noticed a large black hairy form about a football field away in a clearing between woods. She watched for 5-7 seconds as it stayed low and crouched and extended a long arm to move slowly toward the woods.

After their boat motor failed, two companions camped overnight by a campfire on the riverbank. Around midnight they heard something approaching through the woods, followed by loud growling, grunting, stomping and tree knocks. One of them shone a light across the narrow river and saw a head, shoulder and red eyes looking back before it retreated, continuing noise for over an hour. They left at first light and were later towed back to the landing.

The witness noticed a large dark figure standing partly behind a tree a couple hundred yards away, apparently watching them. The witness was awakened around 3:30 a.m. by dogs barking in an outdoor kennel and went outside with a flashlight to investigate. She noticed movement near fruit trees by the driveway and saw a very tall figure that paused behind a tree before running uphill on two legs with swinging arms. The figure looked pale silvery-gray and shaggy, glanced over its shoulder, then leapt off the road down a steep embankment into brush. Next morning she found matted grass and a hole in the bramble where it left the road, but no clear tracks.

Late at night the witness took a puppy on a leash toward the woodline behind the house and heard shuffling in the brush. A very tall, very wide dark figure stood up nearby, showing a lighter chest or stomach area in the moonlight. The witness screamed and ran inside, after which relatives went out with a light and reported seeing a large two-legged shadow run up the brushy hill and disappear while staying just out of sight.

He turned and saw an ape-like biped watching from behind a tree a short distance away, which made a deep vocal sound. An upright brown-haired figure walked past the window on the attached deck, visible only from the shoulders to the hips. The witness waited before turning on the porch light, but the figure was already gone.

Late at night in mid-November 2012, the witness stepped outside a basement apartment to smoke. About 140 yards to the east, the witness watched a tall cinnamon-brown figure pace back and forth for about three to four minutes near a house light before it disappeared. The figure moved smoothly with no head bob and had long shaggy head hair, with lower legs hidden by a rise in ground. After losing sight of it, the witness went inside to wake the spouse.

On the afternoon of opening day, the witness climbed toward a treestand set among boulders and thick vegetation. From the boulders behind him he heard a growl and rock-clashing sounds, then saw a large dark head and shoulders duck behind a boulder. Two brothers parked for a late-night talk on a forest road when heavy footsteps surrounded the car on several sides and powerful growls approached the rear. After repositioning the car in moonlight they saw a dark shape shifting in a tree, heard heavy breathing, and watched a very tall muscular dark creature cross the road and peer from behind a stump. A second slender gray creature leapt across the road, the large one dropped to all fours and left, and the brothers later realized hours had passed.

The witness and his older brother went for a drive to get away after family deaths and got turned around on back roads. Something came up to the back of the car, growling repeatedly with heavy breathing like a sick animal. The witness said he saw something he then called a monster and later identified as Sasquatch.
