The orbs did not appear on handheld, thermal, or television cameras. The lead convoy vehicle engine died that night along with other electrical issues.

Two friends sat in a parked car at night on a power-line trail waiting for others. The witness saw a large silhouette block the moonlit trail beside a low-hanging limb, then take a couple steps across. Only two thick legs were visible, estimated seven feet tall with a very deep chest, and it struck the limb with an audible crack. Both occupants fled in the car and met their friends coming up.

The guest was five when his father took him to put pig heads in a bear bait barrel. The father left him by a tree to get more bait and the boy ran screaming back to him. The father later admitted a Bigfoot took the heads from the barrel and had tossed the barrel into a tree.

The witness, then a 10-year-old boy, was catching reptiles in a dry creek bed behind his grandparents' rural property when a tall slender ape-like female appeared across the creek with an infant. He crouched and pretended to eat vegetation to avoid provoking her while they observed each other for several minutes. A taller darker male then emerged, bared his teeth and displayed aggressively, and the female positioned herself between the male and the boy. Both creatures then left into the brush, and the boy ran home and told his grandmother, who said she believed him.

On later occasions in daylight, the witnesses were checked from a distance, including a broad-chested male estimated at about eight feet tall with a tall sloping forehead watching from pine trees about 250 yards away.
