About a month to a month and a half after the Yosemite trip, the witness parked on a roadside in Sequoia and slept in the camper shell of a small truck. The truck was shaken side to side. Looking through the rear window, the witness saw a huge eight-foot primate-like creature holding the truck, which then squatted to look inside before walking across the road into the woods.

The witness drove into the mountains near Shaver with his dog for a day hike to clear his head. About fifteen feet away a reddish female creature stood up from behind a manzanita bush while a large black male charged down from about two hundred yards away. The witness covered his dog in a fetal position until the male stopped close by, then tossed an apple which the female grabbed and ate whole before both walked toward the ridge. Afterwards he found a reddish puddle of blood behind the bush and left quickly.

At night they heard knocks and breaking sticks, saw green eyeshine uphill, and the co-witness saw a smaller black creature with red eyes moving between trees. After a loud scream, they fled in their vehicle and both saw a very large gray-skinned creature in the headlights, then left the area.

A visitor from the UK went to a beach near Monterey to photograph sea otters at sundown. She watched six very large, hairy bipeds come around a cove, with a large male wading while others handled seaweed on the sand. After her camera gear clattered on rocks, the male approached and argued vocally with a female before threatening her, after which she lost consciousness.

From a parked position in a clearcut, he and a friend took turns watching a large upright figure at the treeline edge for 20 to 25 minutes. A huge muscular sasquatch emerged from fog about thirty feet away, gave him a contemptuous look, then walked to where the elk exited and followed them back into fog. He fled back to report it.

He heard impacts on a metal container, then saw a dark upright figure by the trees that crept toward him as rocks were thrown. He fled to his car, struggled to open a locked gate, then faced a much larger red-eyed figure that snapped a branch, vocalized loudly, and bluff-charged. He escaped in his car with damage to the vehicle.

Around a bend about 50 to 70 feet ahead he saw a tall hair-covered man-like figure picking and eating blackberries. The two stared at each other for about a minute before the figure leapt over the bushes in a few strides and disappeared without aggression.
