The witness was camping in a tent near Sabathday Point and stepped outside in the early morning to make a phone call. After the call he heard a noise and saw a large hairy human-shaped figure about 60 feet away walking up a slight incline. He watched for about five seconds, noted it lacked a bear-like snout, then ran back to the tent to tell his companions.
Tall human-like form seen at Chilliwack Lake Provencial Park
Around midday in May 2001, the witness was driving toward Chilliwack Lake Provincial Park to check camp sites when they saw a large black human-like figure walking upright along the treeline about 200 meters ahead. The figure turned 90 degrees into the woods at high speed without looking at the witness, and the witness stopped and followed on foot for about an hour. The witness found only broken branches, bent grass and unusual silence, and estimated the figure's height at over seven feet by comparing to a branch at its head level.

The witness was driving late at night with a companion asleep in the car about five miles outside Watson on Highway 1. A very large white figure estimated at about seven feet tall ran across the road in front of the car from one woodline to the other under high-beam illumination. A large dark mass rose from dense cover and stepped into view as a tall, broad, hair-covered biped. It walked away without looking at them while its heavy steps thudded, then disappeared into the woods.

The guest was on a solo boar hunt and camping in a primitive lean-to in Arkansas. At night he heard a wet low huff, then a large hairy biped tore out of the brush and charged toward his camp. He hid in the brush, watched it sniff the air and look toward him, then fled on foot and returned at daylight to collect his gear and leave.
