When the witness moved to get binoculars, the figure stood and ran on two legs with large leaps out of view. The witness did not go down to the site because the slope was too steep.

While camping with family the witness slept in a companion's vehicle because of cold and snow. Between 11pm and 2am he awoke feeling watched and saw an upright figure cross the meadow in front of the vehicle heading north. The figure was estimated at 6.5 to 7 feet tall and was visible for a few seconds at 75 to 100 yards before walking into the woods.
