He was then carried inside his sleeping bag for about three hours to an enclosed valley. There a family group of four hair-covered beings held him for six days, during which he shared small gifts and observed their behavior. He escaped after the adult male swallowed snuff and became ill, then hiked out to civilization.

The witness was riding in the back seat of a car driving up a mountain dirt road in the evening to watch the sky. In the headlights at a hairpin where a creek crossed the road, she saw a tall grey hairy figure bent over the creek. It stood, took a long stride, stepped up a steep dirt bank and disappeared into trees within moments. A companion in the back seat also saw it and was frightened, while the two occupants in the front seat were looking elsewhere and saw nothing.

On a warm summer night in 1993, the witness rode with two companions in a truck from the lakeside cabin toward a property above. In the headlights about 100 metres away they saw a small dark hairy creature crouched on all fours in the road with long straight legs, no visible tail or protruding ears, and large bright shining eyes. After a moment of sudden fear the group drove up a driveway, discussed the sighting briefly, and returned minutes later to find nothing.
