Three people went by car into a heavily forested area in the early morning to be alone. About half an hour after arriving they heard rustling followed by a loud bellowing scream. As they ran toward their car, the main witness reported seeing the front of a tall dark figure about seventy feet away and hearing it flee into the woods before the group left quickly.

The witness and two companions were camping by a river and went upstream climbing rocks to find a spot to jump into the water. Across the river they noticed movement in a brush-filled crevasse and watched a large dark-haired figure crouching and then climbing upward on its hind legs while holding trees and rocks. The witness was sitting on a hillside above a creek outside Dunsmuir in the afternoon. From about 300 yards away he watched a tall, dark, hairy figure squatting at the creek grabbing fish for several minutes. When the witness moved to get binoculars, the figure stood and ran on two legs with large leaps out of view. The witness did not go down to the site because the slope was too steep.
Daylight sighting by guide and two tourists at Lake Shasta Caverns
The witness, a tour guide, was waiting at the mountain-top cavern entrance with two tourists for the return bus on a cloudy day. They heard repeated thumping and noticed treetops moving along a ravine about 200 yards away, then briefly watched a huge bipedal figure with swinging arms run downhill toward the lake and disappear while footfalls remained audible. The witness radioed for the bus and left with the group, later quitting the job to avoid being alone on the mountain.

On the night of September 23, 2000, the witness and the witness's spouse were driving south on Highway 89 near Tahoma after dinner. Their headlights illuminated a hair-covered biped crossing the road toward the lake and running into the trees. Both occupants watched it run upright on two legs and agreed it did not look like a bear, describing it as more like a Sasquatch.

The witness was driving north and pulled off near Edgewood to eat and nap in the parked car. The witness awoke around 1:30AM to a rock hitting the hood, then turned on the headlights and saw a tall chocolate-colored creature watching nearby. After about 20-30 seconds it walked away into brush in a few long strides, and the witness left and later contacted authorities.

The witness was driving with a relative in the late afternoon when they noticed a tall, reddish-brown fur-covered human-like figure descending a snow-covered clear-cut hillside. They watched it walk about 400 yards, step over a small fir tree, pause to look around, then disappear into forest at the base. Afterward they realized three other cars had also pulled over to watch.

A young woman riding a horse home through a dry riverbed in the late afternoon encountered a hairy biped near trees. Her horse refused to go forward, and she saw the creature standing and walking parallel about 75 to 100 yards away. They looked at each other for just under a minute before it turned and left into dense brush walking then crouching.

They watched two orange spheres detach from a meteor-like streak, reappear over a nearby ball field and pass overhead, followed by three bright lights that became a large silent triangular craft passing low overhead before vanishing. Afterward they attempted to report the sighting to police, the airport tower, and a UFO reporting center.
