The host says he was reading about a scoutmaster in the 1950s who was with Boy Scouts and pulled over for a light he thought was a plane. The man told the boys to wait, approached, then there was a flash, blackout, burns, and skin on fire when found. The host admits he had not fully read the story.

The witness was riding horseback on a forest trail toward a stream while camping. From about 50 yards away the witness saw three hair-covered creatures crouched drinking, then standing after noticing the witness. While hunting moose alone on the west side of a lake, the witness mistook a tall hair-covered biped seen from behind for the rump of a wounded moose and shot it between the shoulder blades, killing it instantly. The witness then walked around the body, noting its very large size, dark brown long hair, bare palms with opposed thumbs, and flat five-toed feet estimated around fifteen inches, before leaving quickly out of fear and concern about hunting without a license. The account was kept private for about thirty years until the witness recognized similar creatures in published film and began speaking about it.

A mother home with three children saw a large man-like creature approaching. The family fled to a nearby village while the creature broke into the house, destroyed property and ate stored fish. The husband later found large humanoid tracks, hair and blood around the house.

An older woman wrote that she and her uncle set traps for disappearing oranges and caught a tiny hair-covered naked man speaking an unknown language. Police put him in an orange crate, then the house was pelted with sticks, stones and oranges by dozens of similar beings until he was released. A later police worker recalled the crate incident.

As a young teenager bringing cows across a canal near dark, the diarist saw a large bear-like figure standing on hind feet by a sapling 600-700 feet away and felt intense chill. Cows were undisturbed and his father was unconcerned. Next morning with his friend [name withheld] he found a huge bare footprint in wet mud under the sapling, estimated 8.5-9 feet tall using [name withheld]'s height, and nearby found a stick-bed with a strong repulsive odor.
