The witness was driving south to check traps when he noticed a dark form in the road ahead and approached for a closer look. The form rose onto two legs, looked toward the vehicle, then took two strides west into the swamp and vanished without leaving sign or sound. Using a roadside curve sign for scale, the witness estimated its height at eight and a half to nine feet and described it as very black with long arms. He was shaken and no longer enters the woods unarmed.

The witness was looking out a window of the home when she saw a hair-covered biped in the yard about 25-30 feet away. In 1998 the witness and a relative were hunting near Yellowjacket Creek and stopped on a trail to free a shoelace caught in a bike sprocket. A tall dark creature walked up the trail to within about 25 feet, then stepped behind a large maple tree and peeked from side to side. The two left the area quickly.

He reported being scared and said he could give no further detail, recalling no odor or sound during the road encounters.

The witness was riding with family toward Wichita Falls in late morning and looked out the vehicle window. They saw a tall, dark, fur-covered figure running bipedally from a hill into a valley. The figure disappeared into trees after a few seconds. The witness was the only occupant who saw it.

The witness and his wife were hiking to Crabtree Falls in July 2016 when they left the main trail to follow a creek uphill through boulders. Near the top of a 25-30 foot cascade the witness saw a tall lanky hairy figure crouched above the water with its arm in the falls. After his wife screamed the creature stood, grunted, stared briefly, then crossed the creek in one step and climbed out of sight, after which the couple left and avoided hiking for months.

The witness was fishing upstream on the Upper Priest River when he felt watched. On returning downstream he saw movement behind a tree and then a large dark human-like figure standing 20 to 30 yards away. The figure looked at him for a few seconds, then turned and walked away bipedally with little noise. The witness ran back to his truck and avoided the area for the rest of the summer.

The witness was walking along a rural road past a marsh at dawn when noises like birds rustling came from the reeds. A light-brown creature that had been crouched in the reeds stood up and ran uphill toward the woods, pushing brush aside with its arms. The witness observed it for less than a minute, noting great height, broad shoulders, a coconut-shaped head, and very fast movement.

After a few seconds the figure left quickly through the forest, and the witness threw a rock toward the area with no response before leaving with family.

The witness was driving northbound on a four-lane highway through forested land in the early evening. A long, skinny, dark-haired creature came from the left at full running speed and crossed all four lanes in front of her on all fours with an arched back and tucked head. She first wondered if it was an April Fools costume, but after checking native animals and other reports she concluded it was something else.

The witness arrived before dawn to turkey hunt from a stick blind he had built the prior week. Before daylight he heard mumbling like people talking from in front and to the left. A tall hairy biped then stepped from brush, stood looking north, vocalized, left, returned, and was joined by a shorter female carrying an infant; both then walked west across the meadow and the witness left.

Around 2:30 AM on March 22, 2016, the witness watched from a kitchen window as an upright figure walked through the backyard. The figure was described as large, taller than the swing set and wider than the witness, with eye shine. The witness searched for prints afterward but found none because the ground was frozen hard.

The witness and the witness's wife were driving west on Upper Hoh Road after visiting the Hoh Rain Forest. Near the Hoh River they watched a tall, dark-haired biped emerge from woods on the north side, cross the road in three strides, and disappear into woods on the south side. They stopped at the crossing spot and noted dense forest with no trail.

The guest says in 2016 he sat with two companions on a rock bar in the Current River while his partner was across the narrow river. He had turned off his thermal to save battery, then saw a glow and a short rotund biped about 30 feet away that had not noticed them. The creature looked toward the partner, looked back toward where it came from, then walked back into the woods.
