Sasquatch sighting in Idaho (2017)
A family was driving slowly up a rocky canyon in a large vehicle while the mother and young son walked ahead after stopping to clear brush. The son saw a large hairy biped stand up and step across the trail into tall brush, while the mother only glimpsed something brown entering the brush. As the family drove out, large rocks came down the shale slope nearby, and the father reported a strong feeling of being watched.

The witness and a companion were driving home in the evening when they rounded a corner and saw a large upright grayish-black animal standing in the middle of the road. The animal took a few strides and disappeared into the surrounding heavy woods. The witness estimated it was about seven feet tall and said its face was obscured by hair.

The witness and a companion were wade fishing in an isolated creek when they noticed a beaver-like shape in deeper water upstream. After the witness made noise, the animal swam to the bank and rose up standing upright in chest-deep water, revealing reddish fur and long massive arms, then stared briefly before climbing a steep erosion bank with a small tree, uprooting the tree. The pair heard it crashing away through thickets and immediately left the area.

Later the same day the pair hiked deep into the forest, first noting twisted broken branches pointed toward the trail. On a thicker, darker return trail they heard bipedal footsteps on both sides, a whistle, a deep vocal sound, and smelled a foul odor while the woods stayed silent. After reaching a logging clearing with empty cabins, they turned to see the back of a tall dark-haired biped before hurrying to a paved road where workers directed them out.

While driving up the mountain highway toward the trailhead, the guest's girlfriend reported seeing a tall, dark, hair-covered figure standing upright near the base of the mountain and watching the road. The guest was focused on the narrow road and did not see it himself. They discussed the sighting briefly but could not stop due to traffic.

Four people driving two jeeps on the inner perimeter road of Hopkins Prairie stopped when a large creature appeared about 100 to 150 yards away at the edge of a campground. They watched it walk around a small area with long arms swaying at its sides before it turned and walked into the campground and disappeared. They then went to the spot and found a footprint in wet ground and flattened grass with a stride too wide for a relative to match.

The witness was riding as a passenger in a truck heading east at night with two companions. A large hairy biped emerged from a cornfield, crossed the two-lane highway on all fours in jumps in front of the truck, then stood upright on the far side before disappearing into corn on the other side. The witness observed its size, build, hair and facial features in moonlight and vehicle light and asked the driver not to stop.
Daylight sighting by fisherman 6 crow miles NE of Elkins
The witness was wading and trout fishing at a fork with a wooded island when a twig snap drew attention to the island. About 60 yards away, a very tall dark figure stood facing the witness then quickly turned and walked away bipedally downstream out of view, apparently carrying a large staff-like piece of wood. The witness reported freezing with fear, being unarmed, and leaving the area immediately.
UFO sighting (2017)
On a hot bright morning in July 2017 the guest sat in a cement truck at a power station. He saw a dark metallic perfect sphere come straight toward him against the wind and stop above the tree line. He filmed three clips as it moved left, rose higher, then left over the trees.
Nighttime road crossing outside Parrish
After an overnight fishing trip, a family driving outside Parrish before sunrise reported a large dark bipedal figure crossing the highway between their car and the car ahead. The two adults in the front seat saw the figure take about two large steps across the road while illuminated by headlights and the preceding car's taillights. The vehicle was immediately filled with a strong foul odor, which all awake occupants smelled.

The witness was driving with a young relative in the morning when a gorilla-like biped was seen on the left side of the road. It ran across the road in front of the car and climbed into a tree on the other side. The tree was then seen shaking violently, though the creature itself was not seen doing the shaking. The witness did not stop and later found no reports of an escaped gorilla.

On a Friday evening the witness was at home writing music when he heard a loud howling-hoot and noticed his dogs were agitated. He went outside and briefly saw a tall, hairy creature with glowing greenish-yellow eyes and large feet by the creek-side swing. The creature quickly ran south along the creek under a highway overpass and disappeared while both the witness and his wife heard the strange vocalization.

The father and his two sons drove to a marshy clearing in the afternoon to visit the legendary area. Across the marsh they saw a strange horse-like animal with a sloped back and split tail that appeared to move without advancing and had a shimmery mirage-like quality. While still at the car they heard an unexplained heavy voice from beside the vehicle.

The witness was fly fishing with five friends in the evening when the group heard a snap from across the river. The witness claims a tall creature stood up, growled, and trees fell as the group fled to their truck, then saw the creature walking in front of the gravel road watching them. The group later returned and reported finding tracks, broken trees and unusual intertwined structures.

The witness was staying at his uncle's cattle farm to shoot a suspected coyote stealing chickens. From a barn loft at night he watched a tall bipedal creature emerge from the tree line and move very quickly toward the coops. After he shouted, it growled, screamed and charged the barn, shaking it, while he fired dozens of rounds down at it before it fled to the woods. No blood was found, only partial tracks, and a conservation officer told them to keep quiet.
Family driving a rural two-track have a late day encounter north of Higgins Lake
The witness and two daughters were driving a pickup on a forest two-track in the evening to gather rocks for a fire pit. A tall black-haired biped ran across the trail in front of the vehicle in a forward-leaning run with arms hanging low, followed about 15 feet behind by a large gray wolf. Both continued up the hill on the far side and disappeared, and a next-day search found no tracks because of overnight heavy rain.
Day-time road crossing sighting 40 miles southwest of Ocala
Early one morning in 2017 the witness was driving with a companion toward a boat ramp for a fishing trip. While navigating an S-curve, the witness saw a tall hairy figure cross the road from left to right about 75 yards ahead, moving from shadow into a sunlit patch. The figure disappeared behind a blind spot before the vehicle reached the crossing point, and the companion did not see it. After stopping at the location, the witness found no tracks, trail, or odor.

While driving west in early evening the witness saw a tall figure standing beside a lone pine on the south side of the road. She perceived a person-like form with a pointed head like a hoodie, assumed masculine because of size. After a couple seconds she glanced for traffic and it was gone, possibly dropping in deep snow. A friend later estimated 12 feet against the tree.
Motorist sighting at night a few miles north of Rio Grande
The witness stopped on a road at night to count deer in a field beside the road and noticed a tall light to medium brown figure with a large upper body standing near one deer. The figure then ran toward the treeline with an uneven gait after apparently noticing it had been seen. The encounter occurred under vehicle headlights at about 25 to 35 feet distance.

Early one morning while driving to a farm job, the witness stopped at an intersection and saw a tall, emaciated, fur-covered figure holding a tree branch in the headlights. The figure stared at the car, then bared worn and broken teeth when the car moved toward it, before the witness drove past within close range. The witness later interpreted the animal as an elderly, starving individual possibly seeking chickens during severe winter weather.
