Over about two weeks of night deliveries, the driver heard howls and unexplained slaps on the box truck in the same area. One morning the headlights lit a tall slender hair-covered humanoid standing in the road. Noting its overlong arms and matted hair, the driver kept going as it stepped into lava rock terrain, then stopped to look but found nothing.

The group left the area that night feeling watched.

The witness camped alone on his wooded property and woke at 4 a.m. to his car alarm, which had never gone off before. He fired a shot into the air, approached the car, and by the blinking lights saw a tall black figure striding away. He hid in his car with his gun until daylight and then drove out.

The witness was night fishing with his brother and a friend when movement in dense cattails prompted him to throw concrete that struck something with a loud thud and exhale. They saw high amber-red eyeshine, then fled to their lifted pickup as a large snout-faced biped chased them. It reached toward the tailgate and kept pace on two and four legs for several hundred yards until they detoured around the lake to escape.

The guest's friend drove to Rosebud Reservation to bring supplies to an elder. After unloading and going inside, the truck alarm began sounding with horn, lights, wipers and windows activating. The elder said little people were inside messing with the wiring and would not cause harm. The disturbance stopped after they went back inside.

A government veterinarian called to tranquilize it struggled with dosing and collected hair and blood. The next day officials allegedly seized the samples and denied the event.

Driving about 65 mph after leaving a mall, the witness felt a violent impact that destroyed the front end and scattered parts far behind, but saw no animal. He found hairs and blood spots, noticed a wet-dog smell, and an officer suggested a wolf without filing a report. He later wondered it was a juvenile sasquatch.

A coworker who lives in the same town was driving behind the witness at night and saw a brown hairy thing standing roadside. It lunged to the center, the truck struck its rear, and it went over the guardrail. The driver saw a hunk of hide with hair, heard a threatening voice in his head warning not to pick it up, and left. The guest relates a friend's account from outside Flagstaff. The friend was asleep in the passenger seat when the driver braked hard for a tall hairy figure in the road. The figure reportedly put its hands on the front of the car as it stopped, then left into the trees.

The creature backed away and bolted for the nearby treeline when another truck's lights appeared, and the witness later left trucking after being ridiculed.

While hauling a refrigerated load north at night, the witness pulled onto an exit ramp to check a temperature alert and began diagnostics on the trailer. The witness noticed a musky odor and breathing, turned on cab work lights, and found a tall hairy face leaning in within a few feet. When the trailer engine kicked on, both were startled, the creature slapped the unit hard enough to break fiberglass and then ran across a field with heavy footfalls.
