The caller described researching with a small team on a local mountain hotspot. After hearing wood cracking on the other side of a hill, a companion held up a phone and recorded. The figure was only noticed in the footage months later and appeared gigantic in later comparison shots.

The researcher left an audio recorder on a trail behind the house where food had been taken and structures seen. At 3:54 in the morning the recorder captured very heavy bipedal-sounding footsteps approaching, stopping and breathing close to the microphone.

The witness and friends camped at a favorite ridge site between two ponds and were awakened by loud splashes. Video later showed he had focused on a face leaning around a tree that appeared to sneer then close its mouth. A field researcher described finding a campsite in a long-studied area with the tent torn and burned, fire logs scattered, food and belongings strewn, trees knocked down, and skin-like material on the ground. After hearing blowing-like sounds from both sides of the road, the party found large barefoot tracks with smaller ones nearby along an established trail. They reported the find, returned next day to find authorities cleaning the site, and later described drag marks, blood staining, and urination along the trail.

At his first home the witness repeatedly heard loud slams like logs or rocks hitting ground over about two weeks. On the last night he went to the yard edge with a spotlight and gun and heard something like a bulldozer coming down the hillside. It stopped at the wood line and he saw nothing, including no eyeshine.

After a joking tree knock received an answering knock, the night brought dog distress, stick-breaking sounds, and heavy bipedal footsteps passing the tents without disturbing food. The next day one camper felt watched while gathering firewood.

The witness was alone in an inner tube fishing under a full moon when he felt dread and heard a scream and bushes moving. Several large mesquite trees were shaken from the base at once while he felt rumbling pressure in his chest. He kicked to shore, abandoned his gear in waders, and drove out through brush.

The witness and companions arrived at the family cabin after dark and parked on the hill above it. While unloading with the trunk open they heard a very loud stick break and shuffling in the brush that seemed to track their movements. One companion shined a light, saw nothing, then ran to the cabin followed by the witness.

The witness was parked at night with three companions by a large honeysuckle bush at the woods edge. After hearing branch-breaking sounds, a companion threw a vodka bottle into the bushes and it was thrown back past them into the road. They fled by car, had to move a large branch blocking the road while smelling a foul odor and hearing movement around them, then left and avoided the area.
