While family members fished a pond clear on three sides with woods rising on the fourth, a loud crashing approach came down the hill shaking trees. A cousin fishing alone on the wooded side threw down his pole, ran back screaming and shaking. The father suggested a deer feeder, but the cabin owner later said no feeder was ever there.

Four young people went to a collapsed train tunnel late at night and sat on top of the entrance. They reported an overpowering odor, snapping twigs, loud crashing through trees, a low growl, heavy footsteps they could feel, and a loud thud. As they ran back to their car, the reporter glimpsed huge hairy legs and a large hand with long dark nails, then they drove away quickly after the car lurched.

The witness was walking home across a golf course in the early morning hours when he heard a noise from a creek below a bridge. He looked down and saw a large dark-haired bear-like creature bent over drinking water, which looked up with a human-like face. After only a couple seconds he ran home without looking back.

The witness was following dogs while hunting raccoons in the woods with a party. A loud scream, loud crashing noises, and an awful smell were encountered. The dogs returned scared to the trucks, with one smelling of skunk.

The witness visited a friend's farm after loaning a truck and found a very large footprint in mud, attempting a plaster cast. Later he saw a dark figure bobbing while holding a tree limb across a field, then saw a hairy long hand touching the plaster. At the marina a worker said a news crew had previously covered a Bigfoot report at the lake, which led the witness to consider that explanation.

The witness, then nine years old, went outside at dusk during a hide-and-seek game to look for siblings in a pine grove behind the house. The witness followed glimpsed movement around the trees, then saw a small dark-faced figure with large eyes watching through a pine and moving to keep eye contact. A high-pitched noise sounded from the trees, the figure ran away, and the witness ran back to the house.

When the witness was 15, they were fishing with their dog on Twin Creek near dark and noticed the dog acting uneasy and staring across the creek. While walking home through woods toward a cornfield, the dog growled, whimpered and backed away at a thick cedar stand. The witness heard a few twigs snap from within the cedars, saw nothing else, and ran with the dog to the cornfield behind the house.

A group gathered on a front porch at night heard noises near an old chicken coop and saw two pairs of yellow eyes that appeared to be two feline-like animals in the headlights. A large hairy biped then stepped in front of the animals and lurched toward a car, prompting the group to flee inside and call deputies. The biped later stood outside a lit kitchen window for several minutes while occupants held firearms but did not shoot, then left before deputies arrived, leaving a strong odor.

He heard an extremely loud sound and then had a roughly five-second view of a huge dark brown bipedal figure running at full speed. The witness and a companion were walking along railroad tracks beside the Ohio River in the evening when they heard brush being trampled on the hillside. They looked up and saw a very tall hair-covered figure about 25 yards away leaning out from behind a tree with an arm around the trunk. Both immediately ran back the way they had come.

During the night the teenager saw a huge hair-covered figure crouched at an overturned trashcan scooping garbage, then stand upright and stare briefly. The figure stepped over the trashcan, sprang up an embankment, and disappeared into brush, leaving disturbed dew, strewn garbage, and broken brush.

The witness looked through the door window and described a large face peering in that then screamed and pushed away. Both went out the back and watched the figure step over a barbed-wire fence and run away hunched over with very long arms. A next-day search found no tracks, but they measured the door window at seven and a half feet above the ground.
