While hiking alone in the morning near the river where the earlier sighting occurred, the witness found a single large bare footprint much larger than his own boot. About twenty feet away he found two green trees of substantial size twisted and snapped off near ground level. He theorized the deep single print was a push-off foot before jumping into a nearby dry ravine.

A companion of the reporter photographed a long line of large footprints in deep snow. The trackway was reported to run about a half mile from across a lake, ashore around a cabin and through woods to a road where it disappeared. While scouting for bear season in the same Minnesota swamp area, the witness was pushed from behind into the swamp. Turning, he saw a large but thin, mangy-looking human-like creature moving away 40 to 50 yards distant. As he left, it paralleled him for about a quarter mile, repeatedly stepping toward him then backing away with trembling shoulders and hands, curling its lip and displaying. A week later he returned, found a 14 3/4-inch track showing it had circled him, felt watched, and heard a loud double whistle near the old driveway.

The witness was snowmobiling with two companions in the Boundary Waters area when they found large human-like footprints in snow crossing lakes. They photographed the tracks over three days in March 2007 and reported measurements of about 16 inches long with a roughly six-foot stride. No figure was seen, only the tracks and an apparent light in one distant photo.
County workers find possible footprints near Bena
A county road worker grading a gravel road noticed large human-like footprints and stopped to inspect them. The trackway included 16 to 18 prints crossing from a swamp with heel-to-toe progression, long stride, and deep impressions. Agency staff later made molds and reportedly found additional prints in the swamp, and the reporter later visited the site to view the tracks.

They watched it alternate between the road and ditch until it entered the woods out of sight. Afterward a relative and another person found multiple footprints along the road and photographed the clearest track.

Large footprints were reported on Feb. 6, 2005 in Red Lake, Minnesota, found along a swamp, near an elementary school, and around homes. The prints were described as about 17 inches long and 6 inches wide with a long stride, with over a hundred found. Woman-like screams were reported from the swamp area while dogs were barking around 2 a.m.

Near his car he saw a fur-covered bipedal figure about 50 feet away in pines, watched it briefly, then it noticed him and ran toward the woods and field. He later found large pressed-down footprints in grass, and the spouse's father found scat in the same area said to differ from deer or bear.

The witness and a relative were camping on their property when the relative spotted a hairy man-like figure near the campsite. The witness then saw the upper half of the figure as it stood and walked away toward dense trees and a ravine, later finding large five-toed footprints in a creek bed. Later that day the witness heard a high-pitched scream while alone on a dirt bike, and that night something large reportedly ran past the tent while a neighbor's dog chased it.

Two people were camping on an island when they heard strange noises through the night into the morning. Around 8 a.m. the noises stopped and they heard something large running on a nearby island, accompanied by a very bad odor. They later found many large tracks around their island, plus a pile of clam shells and a large indentation that had not been there earlier.

The witness and three companions were on a canoe-camping trip in the Boundary Waters. While visiting a creek waterfall alone, the witness heard circling footsteps and loud wood-on-tree knocks, then returned to camp. The group returned together, heard knocks nearby, and one companion briefly chased the sound before feeling lured away. That night they heard a loud splash near their island camp, and at dawn found a very large wet footprint by their canoes before leaving the area.
Deer hunter finds large prints near Goodland
While hunting deer alone in a frozen swamp area, the witness found large bare human-like footprints in light snow on an isolated patch of high ground and followed them briefly before returning to camp. Later the same day the witness brought a hunting companion back to the spot and the companion also viewed the tracks. Warm weather melted the snow by the next day and the location could not be relocated.

While hiking, the witness claimed to see a manlike creature on an island in a bog. Tracks were also reported from the island and attributed to a district forester, with the claim that deep snow and temperatures would have prevented a human from traveling there and surviving.
