A tall shape then appeared at the side window, and they remained huddled inside without sleep until morning. Next morning they found barefoot-like prints with a wide stride going up a steep embankment near the creek.

In June 2007 the witness and a companion visited a small lake in Schoolcraft County to fish and look around. At the spot where sand met grass the companion called the witness over to a very large human-shaped footprint. The witness stepped into the print and found it fit but was much bigger.

The witness and a companion were mushroom hunting when they found about ten barefoot-like prints crossing a muddy stretch of a mostly dry creek. The prints appeared to enter from water on one side and exit into water on the other, heading east toward a nearby river. Scary encounters outside a rural home near Jackson
The witness and a companion were camping in a tent on the witness's driveway in mid-October. Around 2 a.m. under a full moon, the witness awoke to grunting and snapping trees and saw a large hair-covered figure striking and eating a deer, then dragging it uphill. The figure approached the tent, giving off a strong musky odor and knocking a frying pan from a tree before leaving. In the morning the witness found deer remains, drag marks, and a shelter-like structure of bent and broken pines.

As a boy walking in snow on a relative's farm, the witness claims to have found adult-sized human-like footprints with four toes on each foot in an open field near a road.
