Two loggers arriving before daylight found fresh large tracks in snow at a landing and followed them briefly. Later while working the witness felt watched, heard a stick-banging sound on a tree that he could not locate, and noticed deer had left the area. The boss believed the tracks were sasquatch, and the witness came to believe a bigfoot was watching them.

A forestry technician flown by helicopter to a remote alpine basin for road layout work reported finding barefoot tracks in snow in January. The witness was deer hunting alone before sunrise in early October and crossed a clearing to a bank with patches of snow. There they found two partial large human-like footprints in fresh snow, a heel about 8 inches wide and a forefoot with five large toes about six feet away, with recently disturbed shale below the bank. Looking into thick timber about 100 yards below, the witness felt strongly watched and left without seeing, hearing, or smelling anything.

By moonlight through a curtained window, the witness saw a tall shadowy figure with a large head and broad shoulders moving slowly past. The next morning the witness found a single very large footprint in dirt and grass on the otherwise clean porch where the figure had passed.

Three hunters spread out in a draw heard a prolonged moaning-howling sound likened to a weak yell for help, with two of them also hearing a loud pop nearby. They listened for about 15 minutes, then watched a bipedal form cross a stream and meadow into the treeline about 200 yards away. After daylight they found a large gouge in soft earth and flattened grass, then left the area.
