After mimicking animal sounds in the evening, the witness stayed awake through the night hearing crashes, footsteps, grunts and mimicking speech, and saw eye shine high off the ground. In the morning the pair found a snapped tree, strong odor, widely spaced ground marks and a five-toed partial print, which the witness attributed to a large visitor.

The witness reports discovering four large, bare human-like footprints with five toes that followed a deer path down a hill and crossed a dirt road. The tracks in soft ground sank 2 to 3 inches, while those on the hard road left only dirt in foot shape. The witness measured the tracks at 22 inches long with an eight-foot spacing and tried to follow them but was stopped by rocks.
