Bigfoot spotted by driver in Cranberry River region of Monongahela National Forest
While driving home shortly after midnight, the witness encountered a hair-covered biped standing in a forest road and honked at it. The figure ran swiftly uphill along the road and then crashed through elderberry bushes and disappeared downslope. The next day the witness found prints in muddy holes in the road and broken bushes at the exit point.

The witness discovered three large human-like footprints in a road in the morning after overnight rain while mowing a cottage drive. The prints were described as large with three toes and deep impressions, spanning the road in three strides from one ditch to the other and continuing through grass and over a log. Frightened, the witness shouted out the window and fled to the front of the house, startling a sleeping relative and dog. The witness stopped along a one-lane road to let dogs out and glimpsed two dark figures crossing the road quickly at a curve, seeing only their upper halves. The figures disappeared around the turn and were not seen again despite visibility of the road beyond. About an hour later the witness returned and found a slide mark and a possible ball-and-toe impression on the muddy bank where the figures had crossed. The witness first took them for hooded people but later considered them possibly bigfoots due to their appearance, upright bipedal movement, and lack of a trail.

The witness was snowmobiling with two companions in the Boundary Waters area when they found large human-like footprints in snow crossing lakes. They photographed the tracks over three days in March 2007 and reported measurements of about 16 inches long with a roughly six-foot stride. No figure was seen, only the tracks and an apparent light in one distant photo.

After a two-foot snowstorm around Valentine's Day 2007, the guest found very large footprints with toes and a mid-tarsal ridge on a packed trail. He measured them at about 17 by 7 inches with over 4.5-foot strides and followed them about 0.6 miles to a road. A coworker saw them fresh but the camera failed, and later only two prints remained for photos.

He turned around, shined headlights and a flashlight into the woods, then heard movement through brush, vocalizations and wood pounding for several minutes before silence. He returned the next day, found apparent footprints, and photographed them.

The witness and his wife were driving in their truck on a DNR access road toward a lake in fresh snow. The wife noticed a single file of large bipedal-looking tracks crossing the area near a toilet building. The husband got out, examined them in deep snow, and noted a long clean stride with no drag marks before the trail continued into pines. The pair reported seeing almost no deer sign in the area.

About four years ago in winter, the witness found about eight large footprints in fresh snow near the driveway leading from the road toward a pond fence where they stopped. The witness tried to follow the trail but found no further prints beyond the fence. The night before the discovery, the witness's dog had run toward the end of the driveway acting aggressive, but the witness saw and heard nothing when checking.

He followed the same individual's older and newer tracks to a cliff where it climbed, with body drag in snow, and photographed them.

The witness was riding as a front-seat passenger in a van approaching a curve when they saw a large furry figure running upright across a crossroad and behind a billboard into brush and woods. The sighting lasted about five seconds and showed only the rear view. An impression in snow and mud, broken cedars, and a path through brush were noticed afterward.

The witness and a companion parked after dark in an observation lot and heard chattering and rock-clacking from a hillside, then approaching bipedal footsteps crossing the lot. The witness repositioned the vehicle to shine headlights and glimpsed a large bipedal figure vaulting a barrier and descending an embankment. Afterward the witness found fresh muddy footprints crossing the road and lot on the same path.
Nighttime sighting by teen at Lake Asbury off HWY 739 outside Middleburg
The witness was at a wooded church camp at night when a tall black-haired biped trotted across about 50 feet away for about seven seconds. The witness noted a dome-like head, very large shoulders, and long arms hanging straight down while the shoulders twisted with movement. About a minute later a strong foul odor was noticed, followed minutes later by a series of loud hoots. The next morning the witness found large human-like barefoot tracks in sand.

While deer hunting, two companions found a single set of oversized tracks that were longer and wider than a size 9.5 tennis shoe, with about a six-foot stride. They observed the prints heading northwest through pine forest near a swamp. The witness returned four days later to photograph the prints and said they were unsure whether the tracks were Bigfoot-related.

While picking mushrooms with a companion in a remote brushy area, the witness reported finding a single large indented footprint. Shortly after, they observed a nearby tree that was snapped and shredded several feet above the ground. The pair then left the area.

Two deer hunters hiking back to camp at dusk near Heart Lake heard loud bellowing howls and watched a deer flee through brush. They then saw a tall dark figure on the ridgeline that first resembled a standing bear but looked like neither a bear nor a man through a rifle scope. The figure ran downhill after the deer and disappeared into brush, and the hunters later found a very large footprint where it had stood.

The witness found a line of very fresh barefoot-like tracks on a gravel bank that made a sharp turn toward the road, with one showing a crescent of toes. He concluded a sasquatch had passed minutes earlier. After heavy rain eroded the tracks, he photographed the site and cast the one track that retained detail.
Multiple witnesses hear possible vocalizations near Darrington
Six people sitting around a campfire heard a very close, loud two-part vocalization described as whooing/moaning followed after a pause by a booming scream, then heard something moving across the creek. No visual contact was reported. The next day witnesses found a freshly broken/twisted sapling and barefoot-like prints of multiple sizes in a sandy area and made casts of tracks.
Hunters find possible footprints and possible tree breaks near Winthrop
Three people hunting near Falls Creek walked a game trail down to the creek to check the area where they had heard sounds the previous year. Along the trail they report many freshly snapped trees and two trees with twisted tops near a creek crossing. At the crossing they report four large, deep footprints with distinct wide toes coming up the bank from the water.
