Man recalls close encounter while on afternoon walk near Whitehorse

The witness was walking with his mother along a narrow winding old road in daylight, walking ahead to check each bend. At one bend he stopped and watched a large dark figure standing on a rise about 80 feet away for several minutes, unable to see its face in the shade. After leaving with his mother, he looked back and briefly saw the figure about 20 feet behind before it disappeared silently into the woods.
