The witness was driving with a companion at about 6:30 p.m. in darkness when both saw a dark human-like figure sprint across the road from north to south in the headlights. The driver saw two humanoid legs and a tall body covering the road in about three fast strides before it disappeared, while the companion saw only a shadowy figure. They did not stop, and the oncoming car was seen braking.

The witness was stargazing with friends in a foggy open field at night when she noticed a dark, shadowy figure standing in tall grass some distance away observing the group. She tried to alert companions who did not see it, then left for the campfire out of fear. After daylight, she and a relative found a strong odor in the yard, vegetation matted and crushed under the window, and squirrel corn missing.

A very tall, very wide dark figure stood up nearby, showing a lighter chest or stomach area in the moonlight. After shouting, they heard heavy stomping retreat into the woods and fled to their car. They returned later that morning, heard heavy breathing and had a stick thrown toward them before retreating again, later finding disturbed garbage and an opened food packet before leaving.

The witness reached the spot quickly and found no one there, noting the roadside was heavily wooded with culverts. Years later the witness concluded the figure may have been a Bigfoot seen from about 200 feet away.
