The witness was lying in bed and looked up through a gap above the air conditioner in the bedroom window. In the yard light glow they saw a large dark head with a black face looking down at them. The head stared for several seconds, turned away briefly as if distracted, then looked back. Frightened, the witness turned away, asked it to leave, and did not look back.

The witness was driving east in the morning when a large dark silhouette walked across the road in four long strides and then vanished. Both sides of the road were thick woods with no house or mailbox present. The witness returned that afternoon to search the spot but found no trace.

The guest was driving his Jeep at night near his hunting spot when a deer bolted across the road. A huge black hairy creature launched off a ridge and chased the deer on all fours across the road into a valley. As the deer neared the treeline, the guest saw the outline of a second, larger creature standing upright as if waiting in ambush.

While walking a dirt road home at night after shining fields, the pair heard a loud exhaling rush from a ditch and saw bushes erupt. They observed a large dark two-legged silhouette cross a moonlit cotton field with heavy footfalls felt in the ground. They ran to the house and later were dismissed when they told others.

The witness was in a military tent with several friends and a dog when the dog began growling. He saw a huge cone-headed shadow with long arms standing on two feet outside the tent staring in. He held an axe waiting for it to rip the tent, but it walked away after about a minute.
