While the witness was at a truck, the witness noticed a dark head-and-shoulder shape repeatedly peeking from behind trees across the road in a derelict yard. After the witness waved, the shape began swaying fully into and out of the opening, and a next-day reenactment suggested it was about nine feet high.

While playing alone in tall brushy woods, the witness felt watched and noticed a head-like silhouette standing above the tall brush. When he looked back a moment later the shape was gone. He immediately left the area and returned home.

Two days later he found only the deer's ripped-off head with crumbling bone.
