In hindsight he wondered whether the figure was also fleeing and had simply taken the same path.

He noticed movement from a ditch and watched a tall thin hair-covered figure walk carefully then sprint across a field to avoid bright farm lights. A tall hair-covered biped came up the trail, was startled on seeing the witness, hid briefly, then paced back and forth in front of the camp for over two hours. It left down the trail before sunrise, and the pair left for Phoenix at dawn.

As a child the witness was scouting deer sign with his father when the family dog ran ahead and began yipping. They heard branches breaking and the dog go silent, and the father drew his sidearm and backed out with the child. The next day they returned with another officer and found the dead dog under cover near the father's tree stand, and the father said a huge Sasquatch-like beast was responsible.

The witness and a friend hiked into Dudleytown to look for ruins and heard something paralleling them that stopped and started with them. After the friend headed back, the witness saw a six-foot bipedal figure with long arms take a quick lateral step behind a tree and disappear. They both then hurried out of the woods.

After filming in Ohio, the witness encountered a small dark figure walking toward him in the dark as if playing chicken. He saw only a silhouette with no detail. The figure vanished with remarkable speed.

The witness camped with the sibling and a friend from the city in a clearing containing moose bones and antlers. After midnight they heard branching breaking and multiple bipedal-sounding runners circling camp in the dark, fired rifles without effect, found the dog terrified in the tent and felt something touch a tent, then saw large shadows in firelight. They packed out carrying the dog while being followed down the trail, with one silent individual flushing very close, until reaching the car.

Two friends sat in a parked car at night on a power-line trail waiting for others. The witness saw a large silhouette block the moonlit trail beside a low-hanging limb, then take a couple steps across. Only two thick legs were visible, estimated seven feet tall with a very deep chest, and it struck the limb with an audible crack. Both occupants fled in the car and met their friends coming up.

An older man walked him away from the fire toward the cook shack to look into the dark, where they both saw two massive shadowy upright shapes standing at the edge of camp watching. The older man said such beings are drawn to ceremonies to observe and protect, and they remained at a distance without approaching or making sound.
