The witness was sitting on a front porch with a dog when deer ran through the yard across the road. Seconds later the witness heard footsteps and saw a tall, wide dark figure cross the pasture, step over fences, cross the road, and disappear near where the deer went. The figure never looked toward the witness and moved very quickly in few steps.

As she completed the turn, a very large athletic figure ran across behind her minivan from one side to the other, seen only as a silhouette in the rear window. The witness was driving with a companion at about 6:30 p.m. in darkness when both saw a dark human-like figure sprint across the road from north to south in the headlights. The driver saw two humanoid legs and a tall body covering the road in about three fast strides before it disappeared, while the companion saw only a shadowy figure. They did not stop, and the oncoming car was seen braking.

They later placed two men at the tower base for scale and both looked small compared to the figure, and independent written accounts matched.

The witness was driving at night on a rural mountain road toward a rented cabin when a bright orange circular light ahead flared intensely and then went black. He stopped and found a live deer lying on its side in the road that appeared paralyzed and uninjured, then briefly turned to get his phone and found it gone without sound or trace. The surroundings went completely silent before a tall, top-heavy muscular silhouette appeared about 50 yards away and stared at him. After a peaceful-feeling standoff the figure walked up a bank and left, and forest sounds returned.

The witness walked her husband out the back door on a moonlit night and saw a very black side-view silhouette glide across the white siding of a neighboring building. Only the upper body from bicep up was visible on the second story, showing heavy musculature and a protruding brow. Around 2 a.m. on a clear night in late October, the witness heard growls and other noises outside his home and went out with a flashlight to investigate. He reported a strong dead-animal odor, movement across the road, and green eyeshine, then watched a tall dark bipedal animal cross the road into his woods and viewed it at close range in the treeline before retreating to the house. He reported hearing noises through the rest of the night and finding a few tracks afterward.

A group of four was camped overnight in a remote riverside campground. About 3 a.m. the witness, sleeping in a vehicle, woke to rustling and watched a large dark figure hunched over the picnic table going through bags and trash from about 15 feet away. Companions in tents heard rustling and grunting. In the morning there was no scattered trash, but a charcoal bag showed marks and some contents missing.
Men see upright creature walking in front of a home at dusk near Ocean City
Five men were watching TV at a house when they saw a hair-covered biped walking on the street in front of the house. The figure passed under a streetlight about 150 feet away but was in silhouette, showing a hunched posture and broad build, before going behind trees into woods across the street. The men watched for several seconds and did not pursue it, later agreeing it did not look human.

After firing a shotgun blast they heard crashing retreat, later found the camp destroyed with a tent lodged high in trees and gear snapped apart, and were pelted with rocks while leaving the area.

The witness was bowhunting deer alone from a tree stand in the evening and shot a buck. While climbing down and tracking the deer in near-dark, the witness heard loud screaming-growling noises, smelled a strong pungent odor, and saw a huge silhouette about 30 yards away on a hillside. The witness left the woods while still hearing the noises and returned the next morning to find the blood trail ended with no deer.

The witness was camping in a van at Mohican State Park and stepped outside around 3 a.m. to relieve himself. He noticed a tall, slender silhouette moving upright on two legs along the campground road away from him. He said it covered about 50 feet in 5 or 6 strides before disappearing into darkness, and he interpreted it as a Bigfoot.

The witness and his son were driving on a rough road while hunting for deer late in the day. The witness stopped to scan a ridge about 300 yards away and saw a large dark standing figure near a tree that they joked looked like Bigfoot but assumed was a stump. After driving to a dead end and returning less than three minutes later, the figure was gone. The witness remains uncertain what it was and is not convinced it was Bigfoot.

The witness and a companion were finishing a dispersed camping trip and had hiked back to the car on a clear sunny day when the witness looked back at the treeline. About 500 feet away, two jet-black figures were visible near the tops of two adjacent pine trees, first taken for bears. The witness took phone photos and watched for about a minute as the figures stayed mostly still while wiggling and appearing to hug the trunks, then left after the companion grew concerned, later concluding they looked like lean human-like silhouettes rather than bears or humans.
