The group confirmed afterward that all four had seen the same thing but agreed not to report it at the time.

He initially told others the pursuer was a bear but later concluded it had walked on two legs and was a bigfoot.

On the final night the group heard extremely loud screams that moved from near a remote tent toward a pond and creek and found a large maple branch freshly broken off, leading the witness years later to wonder if the visitor had been a Bigfoot.
