The witness and his wife were awakened around 3 a.m. by loud screaming sounds outside their home. The witness went to the rear deck with a shotgun and heard prolonged commotion including shaking trees in multiple spots, breaking limbs, running footsteps approaching the deck, and aggressive grunting very close by. They did not see anything, kept lights off out of fear, and then heard what sounded like several large creatures retreating to the tree line. The next day they found pushed-over bushes and freshly broken branches.

The witness reports seeing a tall hair-covered figure passing the living room picture window about once a year over several years while watching television late at night. The figure is described as walking upright past the window in one direction and sometimes returning minutes later. Late at night the witness was watching television at a house when she heard loud scream-like vocalizations from woods across the street. She went to the front door and heard additional screams described as very loud and stationary. No one else in the house heard the sounds and nothing was seen. She later compared the sounds to recordings and identified one as identical.

The sound lasted only a few seconds, after which everything including dogs went quiet. They did not see the source of the sound and did not search for traces the next day.

After stopping and stepping a short distance from the vehicle, the men heard an extremely loud prolonged roar that rose from low to high and felt it in the chest. They saw nothing, aborted the outing, drove down while scanning the treeline, and the friendship later ended after the friend refused to discuss it.
