The witness hiked into public land to bowhunt deer from a climber stand. After the woods went silent he heard two wood knocks, then saw a black bipedal figure through timber that vanished. Moments later a very large jet-black wolf-like animal appeared nearby staring at him, stalked toward a cedar thicket and disappeared. While hiking out he heard a deep scream-howl, panicked and ran to his truck and avoided the woods for the rest of deer season.

The witness and a fellow priest were in a lit open picnic area returning toward the building when they felt heavy stomping that shook the ground and heard a powerful scream-howl. Attempts to return to the building or cars triggered more screaming, grunting and felt vibrations, keeping them on a picnic table until sunrise. At sunrise they heard crashing and saw trees moving as something scaled a steep rocky hill incredibly fast, and a neighboring resident later said food offerings were left to calm activity.

The witness and his son were deer hunting from a blind in darkness before dawn. After the son woke the sleeping witness, they heard something large moving fast through brush behind the blind. It screamed, stomped hard enough to shake the ground, snapped limbs, and grunted and growled before leaving quickly. The pair then left the area immediately.

The witness returned to the site of a large footprint found the previous day to take photographs. He banged sticks together for about ten minutes to try to provoke a response. Immediately after one knock he heard an extremely loud high-pitched scream or roar that frightened him. He ran down a steep brushy hill back to the house without looking back.

The witness and her daughter were set up in the woods waiting for daylight while hunting. Right at daybreak they heard a loud sustained sound described as a combined howl, yell and growl three times, lasting about 30 seconds each, with coyotes vocalizing between the sounds. The witness was certain the main sound was not a coyote and both were frightened enough to leave.

A deer hunter in scent-masking clothes and a ghillie suit was set up on a rock overlooking a saddle at daybreak. A large dark ape-like animal threw a stick that landed behind him, then charged after he shouted and pointed his muzzleloader. He fired in front of it to deter it; it stopped, stood, grunted, and a smaller one emerged crying before both left. He abandoned his gear and found it ransacked the next day.

In July 2006 around 9:30 p.m., the witness was walking from the garage to the house when a loud unfamiliar screaming was heard from the hollow at the back of the property. Just after sunset he heard three loud scream-like vocalizations, after which all other ambient sounds went silent for several minutes before resuming. A daughter who was present heard the final vocalization. The witness was unable to determine the distance or direction of the sounds and concluded they were made by a Sasquatch.

As a teenager living on his mother's horse farm, the guest repeatedly heard loud dawn screams and movement near the trash burn pit. One snowy night the household arrived to find the porch light out and heard a whimpering cry and heavy bipedal steps moving around the house and into the woods, followed by a loud hiss that shook the horse barn where a large dog was chained. The next morning the family found large barefoot-like tracks in snow leading from the driveway around the house and over a fence, which they followed for about half a mile and photographed beside a size 14 shoe.

The witness then heard a loud deep growl rising into a scream from the trees and saw a very tall, wide, dark furry figure partly hidden in shadows moving along the tree line. Frightened, the witness ran to the truck and left. The next day the resident said strange sounds had occurred lately and warned against entering the woods alone.
