Over a couple months of visits to a small rural cemetery, the witness and companions repeatedly heard wood knocks surrounding them, logs or objects being thrown, and a walnut thrown back toward them. They also heard growls, hissing, grunts, yells and screams on separate occasions, and once heard a large unseen thing charge to the cemetery edge then go silent. They never saw the source, reported no departing footsteps, and described a persistent feeling of being watched and warned from entering the woods.

The sounds shifted toward the woods and continued as back-and-forth exchanges between two sources, including grunts, barks, cries and shorter screams over many minutes. The witness's three dogs cowered by the door rather than chasing, and the sounds eventually receded north into the woods until they stopped.

The witness and a relative were sleeping in a tent at their hunting camp when loud screams woke the witness. After a long silent interval, something on two feet circled the tent, cast a tall shadow and scratched the fabric, then crossed a gravel road into the woods followed by repeated stick-struck sounds. The relative woke briefly and also heard part of the screaming. No tracks were found the next morning.

They heard an extremely loud prolonged scream from across the water followed by large rocks splashing near them. As they continued hiking, they heard more splashes, sensed something paralleling them, and heard a large animal cross the river and run into the woods.

After she yelled out the window, something screamed angrily and crashed west through the woods breaking branches, then screamed again farther away. The next day she found rocks on her boardwalk where they should not have been.
