A platoon leader checking two soldiers around 2 a.m. heard non-human screams from beyond the perimeter. From the barrier he saw dozens of small dust vortices swarming in the open desert under guard-tower lights. No village or livestock was nearby to explain the sounds.

At a remote drop-zone field, the neighbor spent about 72 hours seeing black human-like shadows moving in the wood line. Other soldiers also shouted about seeing something huge running away. At night he heard unexplained shrieks and yowls, and on the last night something large leaned over his tent breathing before walking away.
Scream near Octavia, Oklahoma
The guest and his wife were staying at a leased cabin near Octavia and walking by a lake around sunset when they heard loud screaming or hollering from the river bottoms about a half-mile to a mile away. He recorded the sounds on a small Kodak camera, turning it on and off several times. Locals later told him there were no elk or moose in the area, only black bear and mountain lions.
Scream in Texas
The neighbor, initially a non-believer, reports ongoing hollering, screaming, grunting, monkey sounds and whistles from multiple directions. Sticks and limbs were thrown at them on a tractor, and whistles answered post-driving. The property shows stripped bark, snapped and twisted trees, a trail-camera image and a footprint at a low-water crossing.

When the witness was young, the group heard loud screams while working a fence line on the same family property. The grandfather fired several rifle shots, another loud scream was heard, and everyone rode horses back to the house in fear.
Wood knock in California
Two friends camped off a gated logging road after noticing a possible tree structure. At night they heard knocks and breaking sticks, saw green eyeshine uphill, and the co-witness saw a smaller black creature with red eyes moving between trees. After a loud scream, they fled in their vehicle and both saw a very large gray-skinned creature in the headlights, then left the area.
Sasquatch sighting near Burkeville, Texas
The witness returned to the property late at night and saw a tall, less-hairy creature pacing across the road bent over with long arms. It threw a large log that narrowly missed, while another presence moved to the side. Pine cones and rocks struck the witness, who fired and hit the creature center mass, watched it fall groaning, then found bloody fluid on the ground the next day.
Sasquatch sighting near Monterey, California
A visitor from the UK went to a beach near Monterey to photograph sea otters at sundown. She watched six very large, hairy bipeds come around a cove, with a large male wading while others handled seaweed on the sand. After her camera gear clattered on rocks, the male approached and argued vocally with a female before threatening her, after which she lost consciousness.
Scream near Mountain Home, Arkansas
A couple months after the pool sighting, the witness was sitting high in a large oak tree on the same property. A loud scream came from the adjacent wood line and shook him. He dropped from the tree and ran home, later concluding it was not a cougar.
Scream in Utah
While staying in a trailer with two coworkers late at night, the witness and others heard a female voice crying for help and bare feet running toward them. Something hit the trailer wall and rattled the locked door while the voice continued, then walked away through the woods. Older campers nearby separately reported someone pulling on their tent that night.

At his uncle's hillside house at night the adults saw something moving trees and went with guns to look. In a flashlight beam the witness saw a huge tall creature distinguished by massive upright pointed ears. His uncle fired a shotgun and it gave the same loud girthy scream heard on the Fourth of July, after which his father carried him running back to the house.
Scream near Lipan, Texas
After a ground artillery shell exploded during family fireworks, a loud blood-curdling scream came from the woods. The family dog that had ignored fireworks went on high alert. The father ended the fireworks and sent everyone inside.

While walking to a hunting point the witness heard loud screaming for help in the canyon but could not locate his brother or father. When he returned, neither had heard anything. His father later linked the area to an old cabin where a family was found dead, and the witness says he has heard the screaming two or three times near dusk.
Scream in Virginia
A woman from the next wooded street approached the guest and husband in their yard to ask about weird nighttime screaming. She described it as sounding like someone murdering a woman and called it unnerving. The guest advised caution at night without naming a cause.
Tracks near Eureka Springs, Arkansas
After moving to a remote wooded property, the family found a very clear large human-like footprint with toes that was photographed with a tape measure. On separate occasions the child experienced a rock thrown past him near a creek, faint whooping, small trees moving together, a high scream-like whoop followed by a tree being pushed over, and the adults heard trees breaking and splashing into a pond. Dogs that normally chase sounds fled back to the house during these events.

The witness and a relative were fishing on a river beach when loud screams began in the forest behind them. Branches snapped and full-size trees were seen shaking for about three hours. They laid caught fish around them, then left quickly with the fish when the sounds stopped.

Four family members hiked miles in to camp to train for a longer expedition. A Sasquatch entered camp, put its hand under the hammock and screamed in the occupant's ear, beat trees with rocks, stoked the campfire while all watched, then walked off.

The witness says when the figure went over the ridge late at night it would stop two-thirds down and emit a deep scream with high notes lasting about a minute and a half, claimed to carry for miles, before continuing into the empty valley.

On a nine-day horse-supported deer hunt deep in the Trinity Alps, the witness and one companion camped apart with a pack mule. A long scream ending in a pulsating roar sounded downhill, and less than an hour later the mule was found injured and alarmed staring toward the trees. No deer were seen all week and others reported rocks sliding down on them.
Eyeshine near Tuolumne County
The witness and his father camped to build blinds and saw three sets of tall red eyeshine outside the fire circle that dimmed when lit. Later something struck their truck camper hard enough to knock items off shelves, then a loud woman-like scream sounded nearby with an answering scream where the eyes had been, followed by movement around the camper all night.
