After dark they heard a loud splash, then a very loud wood knock, then another splash like a thrown rock. They moved to the top of the bridge and left on foot when another knock sounded as they walked away.

A lineman elevated in a bucket truck at night was surrounded by five creatures that threw gravel and rocks at the bucket for over an hour. He fired a flare, saw four run toward it, and watched one large dog-like biped remain and react. He drove away with the bucket still raised.
