As retold by the witness, the relative and friends were driving on a raccoon hunt when the dogs hid under the truck. A spotlight revealed a small ape-like figure running uphill, then headlights revealed a much larger hairy man-like figure shaking trees and throwing rocks as they drove away.

A couple set up a tent late at night in a small Arkansas river campground and noticed broken trees, a single large glowing eye by the river, then two large eyes watching from uphill. After going to sleep they were awakened by bipedal footsteps, owl-like calls turning to chatter, pebbles hitting the tent, touches to the tent and truck, and movement around camp. The man blew an air horn, they fled in their truck, later returned in daylight to find large footprints and discovered his phone had recorded sounds through the night.

The next day further downstream, while catching crappie, they heard a large splash crossing the creek, then a large oak tree shook violently with no wind. They heard pacing on the far bank, low grumbling growls, and small rocks thrown toward the water until the father decided to leave.
Partial sighting in Tennessee
Over later visits to the same woods the witness and friends found a hair-covered shape curled like a stump, had a softball-sized rock thrown at their group, found a hung bait bucket punched open and emptied, felt hot breath and heard a grunt behind them with nothing seen, and found logs arranged like benches that gave an overwhelming feeling of dread. The witness also relayed a friend's solo report of something large jumping tree to tree with a shadow passing overhead.

During another visit to the same general area, the witness leaned against a truck in a clearing while younger companions were down the road. Pebble-sized stones were heard hitting all over the truck though nothing was overhead to fall. No stones were later found on the vehicle.

One year later on the same lunar date, the same group returned to the same lake parking spot. Before any equipment was set up or calls made, another basketball-sized rock was thrown into the water. No source was seen despite use of a thermal camera afterward.

The witness took several youths to a lake site after heavy rain to allow them to vocalize. After a call, a basketball-sized rock arched from across a flooded slough and landed close in the water with a deep splash. The group heard something enter the water and clicking sounds, then left.

A neighboring farmer told the guest that rocks would hit his barn roof while he worked inside. He later saw a creature standing on the hill across the pond and photographed it, also photographing a track line in snow with very long strides.

Residents of small summer huts backed against a steep hill complained for a couple weeks that rocks were thrown down onto roofs and cars. Police searched the hilltop, staked it out overnight and had an officer nearly hit, but never found anyone throwing. The source was left unknown.

The witness was hiking upstream beyond a waterfall with two children and stopped to rest on large boulders by the river. A deer ran past, followed by a rock strike and the appearance of four hair-covered figures that killed the deer and gathered around it. The largest figure noticed the family, charged a short distance to their boulder, and screamed at them before stepping back after the witness shouted and another figure vocalized. The family walked out in shock, drove back to their cabin, cut their vacation short, and later sought counseling for distress and sleep problems.

The witness and a companion were night fishing for catfish when they heard water slapping and a splash. About half an hour later a large rock flew over their heads from behind and hit the water. They left immediately and later wondered if it had been a sasquatch.

Throughout childhood the family experienced constant strange activity on the farm including murmuring voices, something calling names in the mother's voice, rocks thrown into the pond while night fishing, hammer-like knocks, whoops, nightly crashing like a falling tree that never hit ground, and moving smells. Visitors felt watched and refused to return.

The guest walked alone to a pond behind a cemetery for evening fishing. The woods went silent and heavy boulder-like objects splashed straight down into the water on his right then left. He fled back home suspecting a joke, but the others had never left the house.

At age 15 the witness stayed home with her friend while her parents went hunting. After shutting the chicken coop door they saw a big white figure 75 to 100 yards away near the fence, visible from the waist up. A rock from that direction landed at the witness's feet, so both girls ran to the house, where the friend hit a clothesline, then locked up inside.
