While hiking across the country, the witness and a companion camped under a rural bridge by a creek. After dark they heard splashes and then rocks were thrown from down the creek, hitting the water, bridge wall and tent. They sheltered in the tent with packs over their heads until it stopped, finding rocks around camp in the morning.

The guest was canoeing with a church youth group near Mount Shasta when the group felt they were being followed along the bank and smelled a bad odor. A basketball-sized rock was thrown with great force from dense cover and landed near his canoe, prompting leaders to flee. Years later he learned a boy in another canoe had seen a head show its teeth then withdraw, which he now attributes to a Sasquatch.

At night they heard knocks and breaking sticks, saw green eyeshine uphill, and the co-witness saw a smaller black creature with red eyes moving between trees. The witness was working alone overnight operating noisy machinery at a mountain job site in the rain. He heard impacts on a metal container, then saw a dark upright figure by the trees that crept toward him as rocks were thrown. He fled to his car, struggled to open a locked gate, then faced a much larger red-eyed figure that snapped a branch, vocalized loudly, and bluff-charged. He escaped in his car with damage to the vehicle.
