The witness and his wife stayed several nights in a rented cabin off Bretts Mill Road. On the first night they heard non-English chatter, found silver-dollar-sized rocks thrown on the deck and roof, and the next morning followed two large human-like tracks in snow that split and appeared to follow deer. Later the front door was found wide open despite latching difficulty, and on the final early morning something slapped the cabin and turned the locked door handle before running off, prompting them to leave at daylight.

The witness and several friends camped on family land in South Florida near the national park. At night they heard hisses, tree knocks and whoops, saw strange lights, then saw a group of large hairy bipeds that threw rocks, injured a friend, threw a large dog, and chased the group as they fled on ATVs. The next day the camp was found destroyed and the dog was found dead.
Wood knock in California
Two friends camped off a gated logging road after noticing a possible tree structure. At night they heard knocks and breaking sticks, saw green eyeshine uphill, and the co-witness saw a smaller black creature with red eyes moving between trees. After a loud scream, they fled in their vehicle and both saw a very large gray-skinned creature in the headlights, then left the area.

The witness returned to the property late at night and saw a tall, less-hairy creature pacing across the road bent over with long arms. It threw a large log that narrowly missed, while another presence moved to the side. Pine cones and rocks struck the witness, who fired and hit the creature center mass, watched it fall groaning, then found bloody fluid on the ground the next day.

On a multi-day float with three companions, the witness camped 200 feet away downriver. At night he heard rocks landing in the river and then on the bank, which stopped when companions turned off music. Later he heard prolonged loud splashing like playing in the water across the river but could see nothing.

An elderly couple heard a crash at night and found a rock on the kitchen floor with a broken window. The husband stepped outside and a creature swiped at him, missed, stared briefly, then walked away across the road.
Rock throwing near Granbury, Texas
Sitting atop stored freight cars at night the witness and his friend threw rocks into the woods and heard one hit flesh with a deep thud. Rocks were then thrown back at them, sparking on the rails and clanging on the metal cars. After smelling a dead-animal stench and hearing more impacts they climbed over a barbed-wire fence to the road and took a long route home.

Over multiple hunts the witness had small pebbles and rocks tossed near him and had items like a candy bar disappear with the wrapper left behind. Companions attributed it to little people. He says they would ask them to stop and leave tobacco, jerky or other offerings.
Tracks near Eureka Springs, Arkansas
After moving to a remote wooded property, the family found a very clear large human-like footprint with toes that was photographed with a tape measure. On separate occasions the child experienced a rock thrown past him near a creek, faint whooping, small trees moving together, a high scream-like whoop followed by a tree being pushed over, and the adults heard trees breaking and splashing into a pond. Dogs that normally chase sounds fled back to the house during these events.

At a scout camp, the witness and a friend had small rocks and pine cones thrown at them while fishing. A few hours later at camp, the group saw an all-black figure moving swiftly and fluidly across a steep rocky hillside with no trails about half a mile above them.

After military service, a man lived alone in a remote Washington cabin without power. He reported repeated ape-like visitors, and in a final incident one in a tree threw rocks on his roof, made eye contact, then jumped down and seemed to vanish like a Predator shimmer while still faintly moving through brush.

An investigator sent to the property reported beds, tree structures including a blind overlooking the house, unusual paintings, and footprints. The next day the brothers drove to the far end of the park and split up to explore along a remote barbed wire fence near a ravine. One brother saw a large brownish arm pushing brush aside to look at him, then called the other brother over. Together they watched a large mass behind trees, heard two knocks returned after hitting a fence post and had a fist-sized rock thrown over their heads, then saw the figure with arms around two trees rocking before it crashed away through brush as the third brother approached yelling.

On a nine-day horse-supported deer hunt deep in the Trinity Alps, the witness and one companion camped apart with a pack mule. A long scream ending in a pulsating roar sounded downhill, and less than an hour later the mule was found injured and alarmed staring toward the trees. No deer were seen all week and others reported rocks sliding down on them.

Researchers visiting the property over about two years reported finding different-sized footprints, thermal-video figures that popped up and down in grass, rocks thrown while hiking, wood knocks and rock clacks, and a juvenile crouched in grass that one researcher approached. They interpret size differences as four individuals including two juveniles and two adults. They also collected casts, audio, and other trace evidence.
Property disturbance
The property owner reported repeated nighttime banging on his cabin, rocks thrown around the cabin, a flue torn off, and small structures appearing near the tree line. During deer season he watched a large black form come out of the woods and move along the tree line through a night-vision scope, dropping his rifle and fleeing. After researchers began visiting, the frightening activity around the cabin reportedly stopped.

About an hour later rocks the size of a hand began landing in the campsite, forcing them to take shelter in their cars. In the morning rangers said no other campers were registered and possible footprints were inconclusive.

On a second trip to the same creek-bed camp, the witness went to bed while three companions stayed up singing loudly. Shortly after they finished, whoops were heard from the treeline across the creek. The area was also said to have prior rock-throwing incidents.

The witness sat by a pond when sticks broke and a head-sized boulder flew from woods 40 to 50 feet away and landed in the center of the pond with great force. Frightened by the power and distance of the throw, he ran and never returned. Nothing was seen throwing it.
Odor near Willow Creek
The witness asked two college friends who later worked in law enforcement whether they had seen such creatures near where they lived. They said that while deer hunting with dogs around Willow Creek they smelled something, had rocks and limbs thrown at them, and their dogs were terrified, so they left the area the next morning.
