Close encounter while fishing remembered near Giant City State Park
The witness was fishing alone at a small wooded lake in the afternoon when brush breaking, snapping trees, and splashing rocks drew attention. The witness turned to see a large muscular creature standing nearby that emitted a loud high-pitched scream. The witness froze, the creature quickly retreated into the woods, and the witness fled down the trail to the vehicle.
Kayaker experiences frightening incidents while traveling down Yellow River
While kayaking a long stretch of river in northwest Florida near dusk, the witness heard moaning to yelling sounds and smelled a strong musky odor. Rocks were thrown from the treeline toward the water and near the kayak, while sticks and trees were heard breaking. The witness also heard coyotes and loud unidentified sounds suggesting animals fighting, felt followed for much of the trip, and never saw the source.
Scream
A law-enforcement friend working a remote gold claim heard screams unlike anything known while working a deep pool under a rock overhang. While underwater on the dredge a basketball-sized boulder sailed about thirty feet out from the ledge and hit the water. No other people had been seen for days.

At about age ten the caller was squirrel hunting alone with a pellet gun on the property. Something struck him in the back of the shoulder, then a white marble rock landed in front of him. He noted there were no natural rocks there except white marble in his grandparents' driveway about fifty to seventy yards away.

The investigator retells a hunter's report of a night when he, his uncle and son had hung deer and gut piles near camp. They saw silhouettes circling, heard banging on the camper, stick slapping and rock throwing as the visitors tried to get the meat. The men shouted from inside where their guns were stored until the visitors left.

The investigator describes habituation witnesses who have had creatures on their property for many years and interact about weekly from the front porch. The witnesses hear heavy bipedal approach, then exchange rock throws, howls, twig snaps and whoops. During his own visit the investigator whooped playfully and received an immediate matching whoop in reply.

Two brothers mushroom hunting saw four figures described as a gray one and three black ones. One threw a rock and whooped, then all ran into woods remarkably quietly despite size.

On the walk out they heard escorts, saw smooth-moving figures on a ridge, and saw a basketball-sized light crash with nothing found.

A small research team camped for five days on the Missouri property to document ongoing rock-throwing activity. At night rocks repeatedly struck the tent, table, chairs and vehicle from a ridge above. The team marked piles of rocks with marker and later found marked rocks thrown into camp, along with foot tracks and a handprint.

He also saw a large upright human-shaped silhouette move quickly and silently between trees about 50 yards away. A family was frightened by a naked long-haired wild man roaming near their home. A stone fell near a playing child, who looked up to see the figure beckoning and making sounds. The child ran inside to his mother.
