Truck driver swerves to miss a bigfoot crossing I-15 near Scipio
A truck driver hauling potatoes south on I-15 at night drove into fog and saw eyeshine beside the road. When he switched to bright lights, he saw a large hairy biped striding across the freeway from left to right about 20 feet away. He swerved to miss it, regained control, pulled over briefly while shaken, then drove on and called relatives to report the incident.

After the headlight brights were turned on, the figure stood upright on two legs, crossed the road in front of the truck, and ran up a steep timbered hillside until it disappeared. The witnesses described it as much larger than a human with dark hair hanging from its arms and legs and noted how fast it crossed and left sight.
