The witness was driving southwest on the parkway near mile marker 307 at sunset with a companion in the car. He saw a solid black biped about four to five feet tall moving along the roadside, which then sprinted between his car and an oncoming vehicle. The figure lost its footing at the road edge, steadied itself with its arms, and disappeared into the woods within seconds. The companion did not see it.

The witness was driving north on a highway in the early morning when a large upright creature crossed the road ahead. The witness slowed while passing as the creature stood in a ditch facing away from the road. The encounter lasted about 15 seconds and was lit only by the car headlights.

The witness reported driving on a country road when a large creature crossed and stopped in front of the car. After the witness brightened the headlights, the creature approached, struck the car and leaned on the hood while screaming loudly. The witness reversed around it and drove away while still hearing it screaming in the distance.

The witness drove slowly down a gravel hill at night and saw yellow eyeshine behind a tree. A tall black Sasquatch stepped into the road, initially seeming to move on its hands then standing upright, swaying while headlights silhouetted it. The witness watched long enough to note size and features, then reversed and drove around it.

In 1987 the witness and a college roommate were driving on Highway 512 in Mississippi late on a Saturday night after a football game. A very tall upright creature covered in reddish-brown fur stepped from roadside bushes and crossed the highway in front of their car. It paused near the center line to look toward the headlights, then continued into the woods on the far side.

While living in a rural rental house, the witness realized Sasquatch-like creatures were coming around trying to get his puppies. Driving home at night, his headlights caught an alpha male and another in the road in front of the house. Later tracks were found in front of the bay window with very long strides, and leap measurements showed about sixty feet covered in three jumps.

While driving at night in cold foggy conditions, the witness and a friend stopped for deer crossing the highway. A large hairy figure chasing the deer emerged on all fours, then stood bipedally near the car, looked around, and ran back into the woods. The witness estimated it as far taller and more massive than a person.

After moving to northeast Mississippi, the witness turned into his driveway and caught an eight-foot Neanderthal-type male in his headlights. The creature left the road, ran down a bank, jumped a creek and entered the woods. The witness later measured three successive leaps of 15, 21 and 23 feet.
