A deer hunter waited in his truck before first light. At sunrise he got out to retrieve his rifle and saw deer flooding across the road. Behind the deer a creature crossed the road in two steps while chasing the deer without looking at the witness.

The witness was driving home late from a family dinner and slowed in a desolate gamelands stretch where deer often cross. A young deer tumbled into the road and a huge hairy biped leapt from a bank, grabbed the deer, broke its neck, growled, then leapt over a guardrail and disappeared downhill.

The witness left a lakeside campground after dark in a pickup with a young child, followed by relatives in another vehicle. Headlights revealed a wolf/coyote-like animal down the road that then rose onto two legs to about the witness's height. The witness swerved to avoid it, and it lunged toward the tailgate as the truck passed, after which the witness sped to the end of the road and later told relatives who said the creature was known around the lake.

The witness was driving on an elevated two-lane road that was flooded when a large dark figure stepped in front of a highway sign and crossed the road in two steps. He flashed his bright lights, saw two reddish eyes glance toward him, then watched it drop down the steep bank. He stopped, got out, saw only a water trail across the pavement and heard splashing moving through the woods.

While on night guard duty during training at a forested base, the witness saw a tall broad figure cross a dirt road ahead. Viewed through night vision in heavy fog, the figure showed unusually bright yellow-green eyes and cleared the road in a few strides. The witness retreated and did not report the incident officially.

The witness drove a loud truck along a blacktop ridge road to check fields near the back entrance of a large state park. A huge hairy creature jumped a fence and stood in the road, forcing her to brake hard within about 15 to 20 feet. They stared at each other for about a minute before it left down a wooded hill and disappeared. She then drove home and told her mother, whose silent nod suggested prior knowledge.

The guest's mission companion said his brothers and father encountered a Sasquatch while heading out hunting. An animal crossed the road in front of them and then jumped into a deep wash or ravine. They did not follow it.

About a month before the morning walk-by, the same witness was driving home late when a long black-haired dogman-like animal galloped on all fours across in front of his car. It had a muzzle, wide front shoulders and narrow hips, then continued across a field on all fours.

A woman driving about 50 mph on a foggy early morning slowed for large yellowish-green eyes by the road. The shape stood on two legs as a broad-shouldered silhouette by a fence post and ran across the road behind her car. When she called Fish and Wildlife, the officer said others reported a large animal described as Bigfoot.
