On an icy dark morning with light snow the witness sat with his young daughter in a child seat and watched the figure stand in the road waving its arms at an oncoming car. The driver crashed toward the lake edge while looking at it, after which it turned and walked off and the witness drove home.

A coworker who lives in the same town was driving behind the witness at night and saw a brown hairy thing standing roadside. It lunged to the center, the truck struck its rear, and it went over the guardrail. The driver saw a hunk of hide with hair, heard a threatening voice in his head warning not to pick it up, and left. The hide was gone the next morning.
