On a moonlit night in summer 1970, the witness was on a road by a cornfield with a companion when a large brownish creature was heard and then seen running across the road, down a ditch, over a fence and into the cornfield. The frightened children ran to a neighbor's house, and the witness's mother later suggested it was a Bigfoot, which the witness confirmed from a magazine photo weeks later.
