In March 2001 at about 4:30 a.m., the witness was driving home from work on back dirt roads when a tall bipedal figure crossed in front of the headlights in two to three strides. The figure stepped over a fence into a field and disappeared from view. It was described as 6-7 feet tall with long arms and long grayish hair, possibly dust-coated, moving in a lumbering fast walk.

Late at night in February 1992, the witness was driving on a rural road when an upright, hair-covered figure crossed the road from west to east in front of the vehicle. The figure quickly crossed the two-lane road in a few long walking steps, appearing slumped forward with arms swinging. The witness slowed, stopped, turned around and searched the area with headlights but found nothing further.

Later Friday night while sitting in a car facing the road, the visitor scanned the brush with starlight night vision. A large dark bipedal figure walked across the road in under five seconds where crossings had been heard the night before, then disappeared into brush. At the same time others heard Ohio-like howls to the left.

He swerved to miss it, skidded and crashed into a landowner's driveway ditch, damaging the front end and requiring a tow. The witness was driving on an elevated two-lane road that was flooded when a large dark figure stepped in front of a highway sign and crossed the road in two steps. He flashed his bright lights, saw two reddish eyes glance toward him, then watched it drop down the steep bank. He stopped, got out, saw only a water trail across the pavement and heard splashing moving through the woods.

The witness's cousin was driving on a rural ranch road at night to a relative's house. A large human-like figure easily leapt over an eight-foot fence, entered the roadway, and struck the hood as she braked. She then drove away and watched it leap another fence with ease.

While driving toward a calling spot, the group encountered two large individuals crossing the road, the larger beige and estimated at 11 to 12 feet. The larger disappeared into thick pines while the smaller repeatedly tried to run ahead and recross in front of the truck. The driver blocked it several times under headlights and spotlights until it left into the woods.

The guest and his wife were riding an ATV to their blind early in the morning when a barefoot figure ran across the trail about 30 feet ahead. The wife did not see it. They stopped and found a fresh bare footprint filling with water and joked about a person out barefoot in cold weather.
