The work contact reportedly told the witness about a prior drive down the same road. A large animal strode across the road on two legs and then dropped to all fours upon entering the treeline. No date or time of day was given.

The witness was driving on a familiar back road when he saw a figure standing on the left he first took for a person at a mailbox. The figure turned and crossed the two-lane highway in three steps and disappeared on the right. He slowed, confirmed there were no mailboxes or people nearby, later revisited the spot and estimated the figure at about seven and a half feet with bright brown hair and a runner's build.
