The witness and a companion camped separately in the North Georgia mountains after spilling bacon grease near a creek. At night the companion reported heavy footsteps, a large outline at the treeline, and large hairy bodies passing the tent while the tent was shaken violently. In the morning they found concentrated large footprints at the grease spill and the witness's own camp trashed.

When returning later with family, the feeder was found completely destroyed as if beaten, yet the camera held no pictures of anything moving through. He saw a tall black human-shaped figure moving up a garden path, felt it was evil, and stepped toward it while praying. The figure retreated through the gate bars into the wilderness, rustling vegetation and rattling the gate, an event the night guard also witnessed.
