A large dog on a running chain across the street was also killed and thrown down a gully, and a neighbor reportedly lost a calf. Residents reported hearing woman-like screams and said officials could not explain the lack of tracks or noise.

Then something wailed on the dog box. In the morning he found a twisted tree, shredded sapling and tracks and made a cast. With a flashlight he saw something large and black moving up the hill.

The following Friday during a distant football game whose sound echoed through the ravine, the witness heard intense tree beating and stomping like elephants. A plastic sled was beaten against a tree. He hung his phone out the window so an outside contact could hear.

After hearing strange noises for some time, they returned to find the camp destroyed by fallen trees and witnessed shaking trees and a large hairy creature moving on all fours that charged past them kicking sand. They hid in a hollow until sunrise, then fled the area and never spoke of the event for years.

A woman near Roanoke experienced negative entity activity including attacks, apparitions, poltergeist activity, moans, growling and bad smells. A stranger with an official presence came to her door, claimed knowledge of what was happening in her house, and questioned her about it. She told him to leave and he left.

She also reported strange footprints, a presence in her barn, large crossed-tree blockages on trails, and small trees and flowers left on her porch after she cleared them.
