They fled to the van, later heard something walking around and scratching the van, and next morning found scratch marks through paint.

She heard a man's voice right behind her saying hello, felt a touch on her shoulder, and smoke alarms went off repeatedly. Both boys were so frightened they ran out of the house and the son phoned his father saying he would not come home because the house was haunted.

Around 9:30 p.m. they heard three whoops from three different directions, interpreted as acknowledgement. By morning all apples were gone with no cores, skins or residue on the ground.
