Bow Hunter Encounters Strange Creature near Argus
The witness was bow hunting alone in the late afternoon when he saw a large muscular bipedal figure at a distance. The figure was uniform dark rust in color and walked away, disappearing after only a few steps. The witness climbed a small tree to get a better view but the figure was gone.
Two teenagers encounter Bigfoot while bowhunting
In 1976 the witness, then a teenager, trespassed with a companion onto a fenced industrial property to hunt squirrels with bows. The witness reported watching a tall, reddish-brown hair-covered figure stand nearby chewing vegetation and looking at them for about 20 seconds. After the witness alerted the companion, the witness claimed to receive a telepathic threat, grabbed the bow, and both fled without further contact.
Hunter has unusual experience while spring turkey hunting
The witness was scouting for turkeys in spring on the southern side of Jacks Mountain when turkey-like clucking from dense brush drew him closer. Each time he approached, a very low guttural growl came from the brush where nothing could be seen, stopping when he backed away while the clucking resumed. After two or three such approaches he left the area.
