A tall dark man-shaped figure then appeared in a moonlit clearing in the creek bed about 30 yards away. The figure faced the witness briefly then moved out of the light into the woods, and the witness went back inside.

A saltwater hauler working after midnight at an oil-field tank site reported seeing glowing red eyes above a 9-10 foot fence during an unusually quiet period with a skunk-like odor and a low growl. The figure moved out of view and then threw about five tennis-ball-sized rocks toward the storage tanks, with two striking the nearest tank. The witness felt intimidated and left the site, returning the following night to look for the rocks.
