The grandfather was walking the perimeter of a family property and stopped by a creek where he encountered an intensely foul odor described as rotten meat and body odor. He found droppings in the middle of a large fallen tree bridging the creek where he doubted elk could have left them, and later noted apples and chokecherries were missing from trees that wildlife normally does not fully strip. The grandfather's dogs were unusually apprehensive, and the submitter suggested the odor came from a bigfoot.

The witness waited alone in a small meadow while her husband hiked ahead with dogs. A strong putrid smell arrived with total silence as a huge dark mass approached to the wood line about 25 feet away and watched her for about ten minutes. She felt internal terror and a sense of being mentally checked out, pretended normality by doing beadwork, and knew it left when the smell faded.

From the treeline about 25-35 yards away, the witness watched a dark seated shape shift back and forth as if focused on something in the grass ahead of it. Unsure whether it was a stump, cow, or moose, the witness returned to camp and noted the camp dog acted unusually nervous.

A family group of six was inside a large tent at night during a thunderstorm when they smelled an overpowering odor and heard loud screaming approach. A large hairy figure stood over the tent, visible in lightning flashes, screaming for several minutes while the occupants huddled in fear. An adult companion left the tent, apparently confronted the creature amid scuffling and growling, then returned pale and blocked the zipper until dawn when the group left.

After clearing a large patch of woods on the family cattle property, the witness says chickens and a large boar disappeared without trace and something repeatedly struck the house. The family also noticed unusually wide trails and a wet-dog skunk odor at night.
